v0.4.8 2026-10-24 LATEST

Tab sync fixes

  • Fixed When the same profile was opened on multiple devices in turn, local tabs could be replaced by an older session from the cloud. The newer side now wins, and local tabs are kept when the cloud snapshot has no session data.
  • Fixed “Sync tabs” silently did nothing on some profiles: a Chromium experiment stores sessions in an encrypted location the sync could not read. The experiment is now disabled.
  • Improved Local tab sessions replaced during sync are kept for 7 days so they can be recovered.
v0.4.7 2026-10-24

Cloudflare verification fix

  • Fixed Sites protected by Cloudflare often showed “Verification failed” in profiles, even after clicking the checkbox. The browser language exposed on the page thread and in background workers did not match; they are now consistent.
  • Fixed “Check for updates” in the menu did nothing when not signed in.
  • Improved “Employee” is now “Member” throughout the UI.
v0.4.6 2026-10-11

Windows login sync fix

  • Fixed Login state (cookies) of profiles on Windows now syncs across devices, so you stay logged in when switching between Windows and Mac.
  • Fixed Automatic updates failing on Windows. Windows users on 0.4.3 or 0.4.4 please download and install once from the website.
  • Note Profile data sync requires version 0.4.6 or later. Please update.
v0.4.4 2026-10-10

Easier cookie import

  • Improved Cookie import now detects common formats automatically: this app’s export format, browser extension exports (such as Cookie-Editor), automation script formats, cookies.txt and more. Just paste and import.
  • Improved After importing, you see how many cookies were imported or skipped and why; unsupported formats are reported clearly.
  • New Profiles using the Firefox kernel can now import cookies, and importing into a running profile takes effect immediately.
  • Improved Session cookies become long-lived after import, so you stay logged in after closing and reopening a profile.
  • New The AI assistant (MCP) can import cookies into profiles, and the Local API adds cookie import and export endpoints.
v0.4.3 2026-10-09

Faster profile sync with less traffic

  • Improved While a profile is running, unchanged data is no longer uploaded again, greatly reducing background traffic.
  • Improved Profile data now transfers directly to and from cloud storage, making uploads and downloads faster and more reliable; it automatically falls back to the previous method if the connection fails.
  • Improved After an update or an unexpected exit, profiles open much faster without waiting for a download and merge first; any pending upload continues in the background.
  • Improved Profiles with “Sync tabs” enabled only sync the latest tab records, making snapshots smaller.
  • Fixed Editing a profile, proxy or group right after creating it could occasionally report a conflict with another device.
  • Fixed On Windows, updates now wait for profile data to finish uploading before installing, so data is not cut off mid-upload.
v0.4.2 2026-10-09

AI assistant integration (MCP)

  • New Built-in MCP server: control YzBrowser by chatting in AI tools such as Claude, Cursor and Codex. Open and close profiles, open web pages, click, type, take screenshots and read page content, with human-like clicking and typing.
  • New AI can also manage your data: create, edit and delete profiles, manage groups, proxies and platform accounts, check proxies, and view kernels and extensions. Permissions match the app, so sub-accounts can only touch what they are allowed to; proxy passwords, account passwords, 2FA secrets and other credentials are never sent to the AI.
  • New “API & MCP” settings page: pick your AI tool and copy a ready-to-use configuration in one click. A new Skill installs into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor in one click so the AI uses YzBrowser more accurately.
  • Improved Deleting a profile now shows “Deleting…” and prevents repeated clicks.
  • Improved Platform account login URLs can no longer contain a username and password; enter them in the account fields instead.
v0.4.1 2026-10-08

Direct access to local and LAN addresses

  • Fixed With a remote proxy configured, profiles could not open local addresses (localhost, 127.0.0.1) or LAN addresses such as routers, NAS devices and intranet systems. These addresses are now accessed directly without going through the proxy.
v0.4.0 2026-10-07

Security and reliability upgrade

  • Important This release changes how profile data is synced. Older versions must upgrade to 0.4.0 to keep opening profiles. Signing in, browsing and editing still work; opening a profile shows an upgrade prompt.
  • New Free plan forever: after the trial you can keep using up to 5 profiles, with 5 open at the same time.
  • Improved More reliable profile sync: using several computers at once, going offline and back, or switching accounts no longer lets old data overwrite new data or bring back deleted profiles.
  • Improved A profile can only be open on one computer at a time; when switching computers, it waits for the previous one to finish saving.
  • Improved More accurate proxy checks: a broken proxy is reported clearly instead of launching without internet; if the exit location can’t be detected, the profile keeps its own settings and you are notified.
  • Improved Auto-login only fills credentials into the account’s own website; changing the login URL requires the “View password” permission.
  • Improved Changing your email or phone, turning two-step verification on or off, and changing your password now require re-verification; resetting your password signs out old sessions.
  • Improved Many fixes across extensions, bulk import, window arrangement and languages, with clear error messages.
  • Improved Quitting now closes profiles and saves data first; low disk space or unwritable storage is reported clearly.
v0.3.45 2026-10-06

Team management permissions overhaul

  • Fixed Sub-accounts with only permissions such as “View members”, “Assign profiles” or “Manage roles” saw an empty list or got rejected in Team management. Every button now follows its permission and works.
  • Fixed If loading the current assignments failed, saving profile assignments could revoke all of an employee’s existing profiles. A failed load now shows an error and blocks saving.
  • Fixed Role changes, and changes to a role’s permissions, only took effect after the member signed in again. They now apply immediately, and disabled or deleted accounts are signed out at once.
  • Fixed A change rejected for a sub-account could be resubmitted automatically after switching to the main account on the same computer.
  • Improved Removing “Launch profile” now blocks launching from every entry point; “Export cookies” follows the role permission exactly.
  • Improved The Admin role always has all permissions and can no longer be edited; the extension center now uses a dedicated “Manage extensions” permission.
  • Improved Seats free up immediately after deleting an employee; “Select all” in profile assignment only selects the current search results.
v0.3.44 2026-10-06

Sub-account permissions now work exactly as configured

  • Fixed Sub-accounts granted permissions such as “Add proxy” or “Edit profile” in Team management could not actually use them. Every permission now takes effect precisely.
  • Fixed The “View all profiles” permission had no effect; sub-accounts only saw profiles assigned to them. With it enabled, they now see all team profiles.
  • Improved Account passwords are shown only to members with “View account passwords”. Members with only “Auto login” can still sign in automatically without seeing the password.
  • Improved Profiles, proxies and accounts a sub-account creates stay visible and usable for that sub-account.
  • Improved New Firefox profiles default to the 157 kernel; failed proxy additions now show the exact reason.
v0.3.43 2026-10-04

Redesigned kernel manager, and custom profile pictures

  • New Set your own avatar in the user center: click your avatar and upload an image. It follows your account to any computer.
  • New Firefox 157 kernel (in testing).
  • Improved Redesigned kernel manager: separate Chrome / Firefox tabs, a count of profiles using each kernel, “Update all” and one-click cleanup of unused old kernels, with download progress shown right in the row.
  • Improved Leftover files from kernel updates are now cleaned up automatically to free disk space.
v0.3.42 2026-10-03

Correct OS version info for Windows 10 profiles

  • Fixed Windows 10 profiles reported the wrong OS version to websites (it looked like Windows 8.1, which doesn’t match current Chrome). New profiles are fixed, and existing profiles are corrected automatically the next time they start.
v0.3.41 2026-10-03

Daily backups of profile data, restorable in one click

  • New “Snapshot history” in the profile menu: the cloud keeps one copy of each profile’s data per day (last 7 days of use). If sign-in state is lost by accident, pick a day to restore it. Restoring never deletes data already on your device.
  • New Chrome 154 kernel (in testing).
  • Improved Profile list actions: running profiles show a small switch icon on the left; the actions column narrows when nothing is running; clearer icons for the status filter and stop button.
  • Fixed After restarting the manager, opening the same profile could show “Something went wrong when opening your profile”.
v0.3.40 2026-09-29

Jump to any running profile in one click, and upload extension folders directly

  • New Running profiles now have a “Switch” button that brings that browser window straight to the front — no more hunting through open windows.
  • New Upload an extension by choosing its folder (an unpacked extension), just like Chrome’s “Load unpacked”. No need to zip it first.
  • Fixed Uploading an extension failed with “net::ERR_INVALID_ARGUMENT”.
  • Fixed On Mac, extensions with Chinese file names could not be installed.
v0.3.39 2026-09-23

Cloudflare checks pass again, and syncing between computers is faster

  • Fixed Cloudflare human-verification boxes that kept spinning or failing. After updating, open Kernel Management and upgrade your browser engines to the latest version.
  • Improved Much less data is synced between computers, so uploads and downloads are faster. Sign-in state is not affected.
  • Fixed On slow networks, opening a profile sometimes reported “Failed to fetch cloud data”.
  • Fixed Some profiles took several extra minutes to open.
v0.3.37 2026-09-14

Chromium 153, a team activity log, and no more closed windows when a proxy drops

  • New Chromium 152 and 153 engines. New profiles use 153 by default; existing profiles keep their engine and can be switched in profile settings.
  • New Team activity log: see who created, edited, deleted or opened a profile and when, plus member and permission changes.
  • Improved A temporary proxy outage no longer closes the browser window; work continues automatically once the line is back.
  • Improved The local API now uses port 50888 by default to avoid conflicts with other software. Please update existing scripts to the new port.
  • Fixed Google “search by image” side panel failed to open.
v0.3.33 2026-09-07

Stronger security and stability across the board

  • Fixed Sub-accounts and the main account now keep their profile data fully separate.
  • Fixed A failed restore from the cloud no longer affects data already on this computer; turning cloud sync off stops all uploads.
  • Fixed Once a member’s access is revoked, they can no longer see the account passwords or proxy details of those profiles.
  • Improved More stable proxy connections and more accurate line checks; a failed engine update now rolls back automatically.
v0.3.31 2026-09-07

Better in narrow windows, with interface polish

  • Improved In narrow windows the toolbar no longer wraps; buttons collapse to icons and show their labels on hover.
  • Improved Filter buttons use clearer icons for system, status, category and more.
  • Fixed Menu items were hard to see on hover in dark mode.
